PROJECT ACCEPTANCE
Once you have chosen your coat style and fabric, please contact me to discuss your commission.  An email confirming your order and containing payment details will be sent to you and your chosen fabric will be reserved.  You have 24 hours to make your payment before the fabric is re listed.  I will not begin making your purchase until payment has been received.  If you change your mind please contact me within 14 days of your order confirmation.     

BESPOKE ITEMS
Non standard size garments are non refundable.  A free alteration to resolve the fit can be provided if for some reason the garment is not perfect.  I advise you use a tracked delivery service when sending your item, I am not responsible for the postage costs for this alteration.  

COLOURS
I aim to provide as accurate a representation of the fabric colour as possible when photographing it, please be aware that different monitors may alter the colour you see on screen slightly.  If you wish for a fabric sample please contact me. 

RETURNS & EXCHANGES
If for any reason you are not happy with your order and it is still in a re-saleable condition, please contact me to discuss your options. I need to be notified within 14 days of delivery. I cannot accept a return request over 14 days.  
For non standard size garments I need to be notified of your cancellation within 14 days of placing your order.  I cannot accept items which appear visibly worn.

Delivery and Returns

DELIVERY

Postage is £10 using Royal Mail signed for service.
For made to order items, please expect a minimum of three working weeks from placing your order to receiving your item.  I will keep you updated on both progress and timings throughout the making process.

Orders are sent via a trackable service. You will be sent a tracking number when your order is dispatched. 

International Delivery
Please contact me for further details.

RETURNS

If you are unhappy with your purchase please return it within 14 calendar days of receiving your item.  The garment must be unworn and in it’s original condition with tags still attached.  Please let me know the reason for your return and quote your garment name.

Please note you are responsible for the cost of returning your item. 

I advise you use a tracked service when returning your garment and please keep your receipt of postage until I have confirmed the garment is back with me.  I am not responsible for the postage costs of your return. 
The item must be returned in an unworn and perfect condition. I reserve the right to refuse any return which doesn’t meet my conditions.  If your return isn’t accepted it will be returned to you.

Rosie Armitage is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.

Rosie Armitage understands that your personal data is entrusted to me and appreciate the importance of protecting and respecting your privacy. To this end I comply fully with the data protection law in force in the UK.

This Privacy Policy sets out the basis on which I collect and process personal data about you including my practices regarding the collection, use, storage and disclosure of personal data that I collect from you and/or hold about you, and your rights in relation to that data.

Please read the following carefully to understand how I process your personal data. By providing your personal data to me or by using my services, website or other online or digital platform(s) you are accepting or consenting to the practices as described or referred to in this Privacy Policy.

For the purpose of Data Protection Laws, the data controller is Rosie Armitage. When I refer to ‘me’, ‘my’ and ‘I’, I mean Rosie Armitage.

When I refer to personal data in this policy, I mean information that can or has the potential to identify you as an individual.

Accordingly, I may hold and use personal data about you as a customer, for example, when you complete a form,  access my services or speak to me.

  • details of referrals, quotes and other contact and correspondence I may have had with you

I may collect personal data about you if you:

  • enquire about any of my services
  • register to be a customer

  • contact me, for example by email, telephone or social media


How do I use your personal data?

Your personal data will be kept confidential and secure and will only be used for the purpose(s) for which it was collected and in accordance with this Privacy Policy, applicable Data Protection Laws.

I may use your personal data to:

  • enable me to carry out my obligations to you arising from any contract entered into between you and me including relating to the provision of services to you and related matter such as, billing, accounting and audit, credit or other payment card verification and anti-fraud screening
  • provide you with information, products or services that you request from me
  • provide you with information about products or services I offer that I feel may interest you. Unless you have consented to receive marketing communications by electronic means from us, by ticking the relevant box on the form on which I collect your data, I will only contact you by electronic means (e-mail or SMS) with information about products and services similar to those which you previously purchased or enquired about from me
  • notify you about changes to my products or services
  • respond to requests where I have a legal or regulatory obligation to do so
  • to ensure that content from any of my websites is presented in the most effective manner for you and for your computer.


The security of your personal data 

I protect all personal data I hold about you by ensuring that I have appropriate organisational and technical security measures in place to prevent unauthorised access or unlawful processing of personal data and to prevent personal data being lost, destroyed or damaged. I conduct assessments to ensure the ongoing security of my information systems.

Any personal data you provide will be held for as long as is necessary having regard to the purpose for which it was collected and in accordance with all applicable UK laws.

Personal data that I collect from you may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”). It may also be processed by staff operating outside the EEA who work for me or for one of my suppliers. Where I transfer your personal data outside the EEA, I will ensure that there are adequate protections in place for your rights, in accordance with Data Protection Laws. By submitting your personal data, and in providing any personal data to us, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing. I will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your information is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

All information you provide to me is stored securely. Any payment transactions will be processed securely by third party payment processors. Where I have given you (or where you have chosen) a password that enables you to access certain parts of my website, you are responsible for keeping that password confidential. I ask you not to share a password with anyone.

The transmission of information via the internet cannot be guaranteed as completely secure. However, I ensure that any information transferred to my websites is via an encrypted connection. Once I have received your information, I will use strict procedures and security features for prevention of unauthorised access.

At your request, I may occasionally transfer personal information to you via email, or you may choose to transfer information to me via email. Email is not a secure method of information transmission; if you choose to send or receive such information via email, you do so at your own risk. 

Disclosure of your personal data  

 In the usual course of my business I may disclose your personal data (to the extent necessary) to certain third-party organisations that I use to support the delivery of my services.

This may include the following:

  • business partners, suppliers and sub-contractors for the performance of any contract I enter into with you,
  • organisations providing IT systems support and hosting in relation to the IT systems on which your information is stored,
  • third party debt collectors for the purposes of debt collection,
  • delivery companies for the purposes of transportation,
  • third party service providers for the purposes of storage of information and confidential destruction,
  • third party marketing companies for the purpose of sending marketing emails, subject to obtaining appropriate consent.
  • Where a third-party data processor is used, I ensure that they operate under contractual restrictions with regard to confidentiality and security, in addition to their obligations under Data Protection Laws.


Marketing 

If you have consented to my processing your personal data for marketing purposes, in accordance with this Privacy Policy, I may send you information (via mail, email, phone or SMS) about my products and services which I consider may be of interest to you.

You have the right to ask me not to process your information in this way at any time.

If you no longer wish to receive web based marketing information you can unsubscribe by emailing info@rosiearmitage.co.uk. For non-web-based marketing information please write to: Rosie Armitage: 195 Luddington, Stratford upon Avon, Warwickshire CV37 9SJ with a reasonable amount of notice, to give me time to update my systems. While the precise timings vary I generally ask that you give me at least 30 days’ notice.
