About Rosie

I grew up with a dressing up box full of beautiful clothes made by my grandmother and great aunt, both professional artists and wonderful seamstresses.  These creations, along with a love of ballet and opera inspired me to train as a Tailor and Costume Maker at London College of Fashion, graduating with a First.  I went on to work as a Costume Maker at Glyndebourne Opera, the Royal Shakespeare Company and Birmingham Royal Ballet where I realised my love of silhouette and colour.

Whilst on my daily commute, I was often struck by the humdrum and felt a desire to brighten the outfits of my fellow commuters.  Based on the classic soft tailored shapes of the 1950s and the vintage garments I love to wear, together with my passion for reducing my impact on the planet, I set about creating my beautiful range of luxury coats.

With sustainability at the heart of my business I use predominantly natural fibres.  Where this is not possible I will find a suitable alternative, such as threads made from 100% recycled materials.  Offcuts will be made into an exclusive range of co ordinating accessories.

A limited quantity of ready to wear coats will be available, alongside a more bespoke option.
